Consultant in Paediatric Ophthalmology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Paediatric Ophthalmology, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our young patients and contributing to the development of our ophthalmology department.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist care to children with eye conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for paediatric ophthalmology.
- Participate in teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Engage in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of paediatric ophthalmology.

Requirements- Full GMC registration and eligibility for specialist registration.
