A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Educational Support Specialist to join a specialist school in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a focus on delivering a holistic approach to student development and well-being. As an Educational Support Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualised support plans, working closely with teachers and external professionals to deliver excellent outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement individualised support plans to meet the needs of students with SEMH and ASD.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to deliver a comprehensive support network.
  3. Stay up-to-date with best practices in special educational needs and behaviour management.
  4. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote positive behaviour and student well-being.
  5. Provide regular progress updates to parents and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in a support management role within an educational or care setting.
  2. Proven ability to develop effective support plans and work collaboratively with staff and external professionals.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  4. Commitment to providing high-quality support to students with SEMH and ASD.
What We Offer:
  1. A salary of £38,000 - 50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
