Role Overview

As an Employer Engagement Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who have completed warehousing AEB courses by liaising with potential employers to secure suitable job vacancies. Your ability to build strong relationships with employers will be key to the success of this role, helping to bridge the gap between training and employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with potential employers to identify and secure job vacancies for learners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key employers in the warehousing and logistics sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand the skills and qualifications of learners and align these with employer needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners throughout the job placement process.
  • Attend weekly meetings at the Coventry office to discuss progress and share updates.
  • Continuously explore new business opportunities and employer partnerships to expand job placement options.
Requirements
  • Experience in selling AEB-funded courses, bootcamps, employability programs, or a recruitment background.
  • Proven track record in liaising with employers and securing job opportunities.
  • Previous experience in the warehousing sector is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid working environment.
