We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Line Controller at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Work in a manner that promotes the health and safety of yourself and others, reporting any health and safety issues to your immediate manager and accidents or near misses to the first aider.
- Quality and Hygiene: Maintain quality and hygiene standards in the production environment, ensuring productivity standards are met and working in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Monitor and control product quality, ensure correct labelling of pallets, and advise on improvements to work methods to improve productivity and performance.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with management and colleagues, liaising with the incoming/outgoing Line Controller at shift changeover and ensuring all appropriate paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Training and Development: Assist in the training of new colleagues, ensuring they are trained to line/area requirements and liaise with the Technical team to ensure correct implementation of intake procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality products. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
