Market Access Lead UK Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Access Lead UK to join our team at Norgine. As a key member of our Market Access team, you will play a critical role in securing successful patient access and reimbursement for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop payer engagement strategies and implement contract frameworks for SHI, ensuring alignment with global strategies and local market needs.
  • Lead the processes for new product entries, manage negotiations with health authorities, and ensure successful hospital listings and reimbursement settings.
  • Work closely with the global and regional market access teams to align on international strategies and support local implementation.
  • Develop and execute payer engagement plans tailored to the healthcare system, focusing on securing optimal product positioning and reimbursement.
  • Oversee the entire product approval and pricing process.
  • Facilitate the inclusion of new products on hospital formularies and manage submissions to secure hospital funding.
  • Localise payer value propositions to align with the market's specific needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive local reimbursement activities and lead activities aimed at achieving reimbursement under healthcare payment systems.
  • Develop local value-related product messaging and collaborate with the International Market Access team to develop messaging that resonates with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and assess regulatory and policy changes and adjust plans accordingly to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in pharmaceutical regional market access, ideally within secondary care.
  • Extensive experience in launching new products in a secondary care environment and a deep understanding of the healthcare system.
  • Degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences.
  • Advanced degree or specific Market Access qualification is preferred.
