Job Opportunity

LAW Absolute is seeking a highly skilled General Counsel to join their client, an established education provider based in Buckinghamshire. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters, including contracts, employment law, charity law, governance, and student-facing issues.

The successful candidate will lead the legal services team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging high performance. To be considered, applicants must be a UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the SRA for England and Wales, and hold a current practising certificate. At least 5 years' experience working for another education provider is required.

The role involves advising on commercial contracts and agreements, employment law, charity law, governance, and student-facing matters. The successful candidate will also lead the legal services team, encouraging high performance and fostering a positive work environment.

The salary for this position is £100,000 per annum. The client requires the successful candidate to apply for an enhanced DBS. CVs should be sent to Louise at LAW Absolute by the middle of September 2024.
