We are seeking a skilled Materials Controller to join our team at MET Recruitment UK Ltd. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for scheduling the supply of raw materials and/or packaging to meet production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Planning: Review volume requirements against short-term and long-term customer forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain effective partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Manage all inventories to agreed stock levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Production Support: Work closely with production teams to understand and execute customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing downtime.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on inventory levels, stock usage, and supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 per annum.
