Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Premier Inn in Newcastle. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for managing a winning partnership between our leadership and housekeeping teams to ensure a welcoming, safe, and brilliant hotel experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless delivery of services and high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve excellent results and maintain a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel performance, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of hotel operations.
- Monitor and control hotel expenses, ensuring budgetary compliance and optimal resource utilization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
