Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Professional to join our team as an MEP Coordination Specialist. This role is perfect for individuals with experience in digital engineering and a strong understanding of MEP systems.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working on various projects, including delivering individual service drawings for installation purposes, producing coordinated MEP models from stage 4 designs, and updating drawings based on client instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality individual service drawings for installation purposes.
  • Produce accurate coordinated MEP models from stage 4 designs.
  • Detail MEP service modules for manufacturing purposes.
  • Update drawings based on client instructions and feedback.
  • Upload drawings to a common data environment for seamless collaboration.
  • Address arising site queries related to drawings and models, providing timely solutions.
  • Input COBie data into the model environment for efficient management.
  • Revise models and drawings to reflect as-built status, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Create Revit families for selected equipment, streamlining design processes.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with team members, promoting effective communication.
  • Represent the company in clients' BIM/Digital Asset meetings, showcasing expertise.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar or related role, with proficiency in Revit for MEP coordination.
  • Hands-on experience in fast-paced MEP building services environments, with a strong understanding of relevant procedures and standards.
  • Proficiency with software applications, including Navisworks for clash detection and model checking.
  • Higher education to ONC/HNC level in a relevant engineering field, preferred but not mandatory.
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems and their installation processes, with good communication skills.
