Food and Nutrition Technician Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Nutrition graduate to join our team as a teaching assistant/technician in a secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher and students during lessons, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Procure, set up, and maintain a wide range of equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current guidance and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Organize and prepare ingredients for use by students or teachers in lessons, promoting hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills and a dedicated approach to supporting students' learning journeys.
  • Academic excellence in Food and Nutrition, with a degree in a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
