Water Confidence Instructor

We are seeking a Water Confidence Instructor to join our team at Kings Camps in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

As a Water Confidence Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons to children aged 5-17.

The role involves working closely with our team to develop and deliver bespoke swim programs for children of all abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is £24,000 - £29,000 per annum.

About the Job

  • Deliver high-quality swimming instruction to children of mixed abilities
  • Work closely with our team to develop and deliver engaging swim programs
  • Ensure a safe aquatic environment for children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and staff
  • Design and plan safe, yet dynamic sessions considering child welfare

Requirements

  • 12 months experience as a swim teacher
  • Up-to-date SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification
  • Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)
  • 6 months experience working with 5-17-year-olds
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching or mentoring younger individuals
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to form positive relationships with children and staff
