Job Title: AWS Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide cloud data and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large-scale, multi-functional data management solutions.
  • Architect and implement enterprise knowledge graph capability from design to implementation.
  • Develop and deliver big data solutions to enable a step change of insight into high volumes of data across global business functions.
  • Lead changes to data capabilities that anticipate changes to the business' strategic direction using the full capabilities in the data systems & insights centres of excellence.
  • Responsible for the development of the requirements, principles, models, and designs for the future-state enterprise data and analytics architecture.
  • Evaluate emerging trends such as big data, open data, and linked data, and determine the impacts on the future-state enterprise data architecture.
  • Champion efforts to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions and capabilities, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, content management, data integration, and related information management or information infrastructure components.
Requirements:
  • Degree level educated or equivalent project-related experience.
  • Experience in large multinational financial services industry.
  • Experience within an enterprise data engineering or architecture role.
  • In-depth experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide cloud data and analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on architecture and delivery experience in large scale, multi-functional data management solutions.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and implementing large scale multi-field master data management, data lake, business intelligence, data warehouse, and data quality solutions are a must-have.
  • Experience in architecting enterprise knowledge graph capability from design to implementation.
