About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our CT team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust.

As a Multidisciplinary Imaging Support Specialist, you will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care and service. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and safe patient flows for CT examinations.

This is a shift-based role, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. You will need to be IT literate and review the Radiology Information System regularly to monitor CT attendance lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising CT lists and maintaining patient flows in Accident and Emergency (A&E)
  • Liaising with wards regarding inpatient CT referrals
  • Assisting Radiographers and/or Radiologists during CT examinations
  • Cannulating patients and undertaking observation checks
Requirements
  • Punctual and committed
  • Willing to learn and develop skills
  • Good clinical understanding and awareness of governance processes
