Compassionate Caregiver Wanted

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Oakbank Care Home in Crieff. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Role:
  • Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, promote independence, and encourage positive choices.
  • Personalized Care: Follow individual care plans, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to each resident's needs.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents' health, communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
  • Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Safety and Comfort: Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, or transferable skills.
  • Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: Integrity, respect, and strong teamwork ethos.
