Senior Project Manager Job Description

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement project plans, including project execution, budgeting, and scheduling.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
  3. Manage project risks, identify opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
  4. Develop and maintain project cost tracking, assign budgets, and approve project spend.
  5. Develop and lead project kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and project closure meetings.
  6. Coordinate project work activities, drive expediting, and ensure timely completion.
  7. Develop and maintain project summary reports, communicate project progress to stakeholders, and provide project status updates.
  8. Attend client meetings, provide project progress and status updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a HND in a technical or engineering discipline.
  2. Hold a formal project management qualification.
  3. Have previous experience delivering projects within a construction environment.
  4. Have line management experience.
  5. Have experience of delivering projects under both standard and non-standard contract terms.
  6. Have project controls experience, including planning, monitoring, and reviewing of both schedules and cost.
