Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment and Maintenance: Take ownership of deployment projects, from proposal and design to site execution, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, resolving issues and answering questions related to DeltaV DCS/SIS systems.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to promote and sell products and services in our portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 emergency response to customers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of computer, network, and control system architectures, including Virtualisation.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Be capable of installing and maintaining hardware and software on customers' sites.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve issues in a calm and structured manner, knowing your limits and calling on support from others when needed.
  • Communication: Write clear and concise project and report documents, ensuring effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work flexible hours, including occasional offshore work, unsociable hours, and weekends, to meet customer demands.
