We are seeking a motivated individual to join our client as a Trainee Health and Social Care Assessor. In this hybrid role, you will support and assess learners working towards their qualifications in health and social care, focusing on Children and Young People (CYP).

You will be provided with full training and support to gain the necessary assessment qualifications. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing constructive feedback and guidance to help learners develop their skills.
  • Carrying out assessment visits (on-site) and online reviews, ensuring learners progress effectively.
  • Working closely with employers and the training team to ensure learners receive the best support.

To succeed in this role, you don't need prior experience in assessing - our client will provide all the training you need. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience working in a Children and Young People (CYP) setting, a minimum Level 3 qualification in CYP (or equivalent), and a valid UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential for site visits).

We offer a competitive salary of £23,920 - £24,960 per annum on a 35 hour week plus annual bonus, 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional time off during the Christmas closure, a hybrid working model with a balance of remote work and site visits, comprehensive training and ongoing support to gain your assessment qualification, and opportunities for career progression in a supportive and rewarding environment.
