Job Title: Steel Workshop Welder

Tuffa Tanks is a leading manufacturer of liquid storage systems, and we are seeking a skilled Steel Workshop Welder to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Steel Workshop Welder will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of our quality storage tanks range and supplementary products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding tasks using power and hand tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Fabricate and weld metal components according to project requirements
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Report maintenance/repairs/faulty equipment or parts to supervisor
  • Product testing
  • Using cranes to move products
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a MIG & TIG welder/sheet metal fabrication (MIG priority)
  • Proficient in various welding techniques
  • Ability to work at height
  • Ability to work with and communicate well with others
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Adherence to quality standards
  • Maintain a clean working area
