Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Production Team Member to join our team at Busy Bee Recruitment Ltd.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling frames of different sizes, quality checking over finished products, and working towards company targets.

The role requires the ability to manually handle stock, maintain good housekeeping standards, and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production and order control system processes are completed efficiently.
  • Leverage in-house software and Microsoft applications to streamline tasks and improve productivity.
  • Perform manual handling tasks to manage stock effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized lab environment through regular housekeeping duties.
  • Work closely with the team to meet production targets and contribute to the overall success of the operation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective health and safety compliance.
  • Able to work on their feet for extended periods during each shift.

Salary Details:

This temporary position offers an hourly rate of £11.44 per hour, plus holiday pay. Overtime opportunities are available at £17.16 per hour for hours worked above 40 in a week or on Saturdays, and £22.88 per hour for Sunday work.

Location:

The role is based in Waterbeach, Cambridge, with specific working hours of 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday, and 7am – 1pm Friday.
