We are a leading provider of care services for older adults, and we are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Night Staff Nurse to join our team. As a Night Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.
About the Role:
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two nights are ever the same. You will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents, as well as supervising and training junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Home Manager, documenting any concerns or issues.
- Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company's procedure and NMC guidelines.
- Establish and maintain good communication with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care.
Requirements:
- NMC registration and a valid PIN number.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Genuine interest in working with older adults.
- Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £38,600 per annum based on 44 hours per week (£19.00 per hour).
- On-site parking available.
- Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
44 hours per week, including night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
