Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Yard Operative to join our team at Alfreton, Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating goods in and out of the site, working with the weighbridge to ensure safe loading and unloading, and organizing stock and stock rotation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Work with the weighbridge team to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements.
  • Supervise the discharge of silos and conduct regular spot checks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Ensure all incoming vehicles and drivers meet company standards and perform regular spot checks.
  • Support the operational team as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a valid FLT license and have proven experience working in an industrial or factory environment. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
