About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Global Category Specialist to join our dynamic global procurement environment. As a key member of our team, you will manage critical categories with a spend of approximately £70 million across Inks & Cutting Tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive category outcomes.
  • Co-create and implement strategies to ensure successful category management.
  • Manage highly critical and complex categories, including Inks & Cutting Tools.
  • Lead the completion of high-exposure and high-profile global projects.
  • Maintain security of supply in a challenging Cutting Tools market.
  • Ensure delivery on FY25 targets, safeguarding targeted savings of £2.12 million.

Requirements:

  • University Graduate in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on category management.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex and challenging market environments.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
