About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support students and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Assignment Details

We have staggered start dates available, allowing you to begin in September or later in the school year. Once employed, you will have opportunities for consistent work during term time, with the potential for further assignments throughout the academic year.

Person Specification
  • Experience working with young people in a school setting or similar environment
  • Confidence in dealing with vulnerable children in a delicate manner
  • Experience handling and moving is desirable
  • Ability to work well with challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Willingness to undergo continual professional training
  • Reliability and commitment to working within an education environment
  • Able to work under pressure effectively and reflect in action
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour
