Job Summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oncology Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development and management of complex oncology patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients with cancer and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest oncology research and best practices to ensure evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in nursing with specialization as a nurse practitioner.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nurse practitioner in oncology.
  • Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice as a nurse practitioner in any US jurisdiction.
  • Board certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Preferred certification as Advanced Oncology Certified Practitioner (AOCNP) from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
