The Role of a Branch Assistant

  • Works collaboratively with the team to provide outstanding customer service and support.
  • Contributes to maintaining high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Displays a can-do attitude and is able to work effectively within a small team.
  • Assists with health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Is competent in multi-drop deliveries, utilizing company vehicles and equipment.
  • Works closely with the Branch Manager and team to achieve branch performance targets and objectives.
  • Provides cover in the branch as required, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Our Ideal Branch Assistant

  • Exhibits a friendly, welcoming attitude and possesses the energy and passion required to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Is versatile and willing to assist in all aspects of running the branch, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Must possess a full, valid driving license. A forklift truck license would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Displays good organizational skills and is proficient in IT systems.
  • Previous experience in a trade counter environment is preferred, but not essential. We offer comprehensive training to ensure success in this role.
  • Previous driving experience is essential, as the role involves deliveries and driving.
