Theatre Innovation Opportunity

Ri Baroche, a writer and performer with a passion for climate change awareness, is seeking two talented actor/musicians to join the creative team for Call Me, Mother Nature, a new musical-comedy theatre piece. This project aims to explore the issue of climate change in a unique and engaging way, focusing on the Hampshire region as its core theme.

Project Overview
This R&D process will involve collaborating with local residents, climate change experts, and contributing creatives to create a thought-provoking and entertaining production. As an actor/musician, you will contribute your ideas, thoughts, experiences, and improvisation/experimentation to the R&D process, helping to shape the final product.

Key Responsibilities
Participating in all required R&D and live performance days, contributing ideas and thoughts to the R&D process, and creating a supportive atmosphere during rehearsals and performances. You will also act professionally for public events and performances, representing the maker and the project's funders and supporters.

Requirements
Confidence as an actor, ability to sing, confident play and improvisation skills, interest in climate change, and a connection to the Hampshire area. Previous experience in an R&D process, playing an instrument, or stage/musical theatre/performance experience are desirable but not essential.

Compensation
You will receive a daily rate of £200, plus travel expenses up to £15 reimbursed on the audition day. The total number of days for this project is 5, including community outreach, rehearsals, performance, and evaluation.
