We are HMGCC, the engineering specialists at the heart of the UK's national security.

Our team is looking for a talented Electronics Design Engineer to join our product development teams. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will work on hardware products and solutions to protect national security.

You will bring your technical knowledge and ideas to create and maintain electronic hardware for customer-designed specialist devices, meeting the needs of customers at home and overseas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems
  • Familiarity with product and system design and development
  • Relevant work experience, equivalent to or a 2:1 or greater relevant degree
  • Experience in electronic schematic capture and PCB design
  • Experience of debugging and fault-finding electronic hardware
  • Experience of the product development cycle and working with production and manufacturing departments to realize a design
  • Design, develop, and document electronic systems to the highest standards
  • Contribute to project planning and meetings
