Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Neuropsychology Department. As a Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality neuropsychological rehabilitation services to adult neurological patients on our inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced psychological and neuropsychological assessments, formulation and direct and indirect interventions for patients admitted for rehabilitation
  • Act as a source of expertise on the management of neurological patients, providing support and advice to more junior members of staff working within the clinical neuropsychology service and other health professionals
  • Participate in education and training of junior members of staff working within the neuropsychology service and other healthcare professionals in the management of psychological disorders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Training in Clinical Psychology to doctoral standard, as accredited by the BPS
  • Post qualification training in Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Postgraduate experience working within neuropsychology
