We are seeking an Energy Meteorologist to join our team at MetDesk Limited, the UK's largest private sector weather forecasting business.

The successful candidate will work within our team of energy meteorologists, providing accurate and reliable weather forecasts for our energy customers.

The role involves analysing and interpreting observational, teleconnection, and forecast model data, and communicating the findings to our clients through regular verbal and written briefings.

About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company and become an integral part of our team.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality weather forecasts, which will be used by our clients to make informed decisions about their energy operations.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development and growth.

What We Are Looking For
  • A degree in meteorology or associated science.
  • Experience as an operational energy forecaster for European or worldwide markets.
  • A UK resident or valid UK work permit.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about weather forecasting and has excellent communication skills.
