Principal Parking Consultant

We work in multi-disciplinary teams, providing well-thought-out and sustainable services. We are seeking a Principal Parking Consultant to join our Parking and Traffic team in London, working on major projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities:- Manage direct reports, providing performance reviews and technical leadership on multiple projects. Oversee financial control, quality, and technical input for assigned projects.
- Develop new initiatives and pursue business opportunities through business development activities, enhancing personal and company profiles, and contributing to professional and public activities approved by the management team.
- Relevant 1st Degree or equivalent
- Membership of a professional institution (e.g., MICE or MCIHT) or aiming towards this status
- Significant relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualification
- Comprehensive understanding of parking schemes and associated regulations
- Comprehensive understanding of traffic and transportation techniques, highway design, and transport planning principles, with a proven track record in project design and delivery
- Sound computer literacy (knowledge of using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
- Preferably conversant with and/or intermediate user of CAD design software
- Good understanding of traffic and highway legislation
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant technical/industry/TfL standards
- Good project management skills
- Excellent financial acumen
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Experience and ability working on or managing multi-task projects
