Job Summary

We are recruiting for an Operating Department Professional to join our team in the Cardiothoracic Theatre Complex. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of patient care by demonstrating a high level of clinical competence and the ability to manage and practice within a team.

  • The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work within the NMC/HPC Codes of Professional Conduct.
  2. Responsible for ensuring accurate patient documentation is maintained at all times, with due regard for legal aspects, confidentiality, and management of information requirements.
  3. Ensure correct labelling, handling, and transportation of patient specimens according to Trust policy.
Requirements:
  • Proven RN/ODP/PRACTITIONER Registered with NMC/HPC.
