Job Title: Customer Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Technician to join our team at HBF Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial works on recently purchased properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out remedial works as deployed by the customer service team in occupied and unoccupied properties
  • Complete repairs on time/first visit
  • Complete works to a high standard of quality in line with NHBC/LABC
  • Review defects lists and procure any materials required prior to customer appointments
  • Complete stock unit inspections on dead sites in order to get these units up to the right standard for walk-through
  • Meet customers and inspect reported defects, compile reports with photographs and pass back to the customer service team so remedial work can be coordinated with sub-contractors
  • Attend NHBC Resolutions and meet with customer to discuss reports with photographs and pass back to the Customer Service Team so remedial work can be coordinated
  • Maintain accurate records on the Defects Management System
  • Organize and prioritize workload

Requirements:

  • IT Literate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Engaging with customers, suppliers, partners
  • Pro-active approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good practical experience within all aspects of the building industry
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry/bricklaying and plastering / drylining and all finishing trades
  • Resilient personality and able to maintain a professions image
  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Current driving license
