We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in their condition
- Conduct thorough assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes

Person Specification
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in an A&E hospital environment within the last 3 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
