Electrical Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our clients' in-house electrical division in Stafford. This is a fixed-term contract from September to December 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical inspection and testing, ensuring compliance with IEE wiring regulations.
  • Perform electrical work in domestic and commercial settings, including consumer unit changes, electrical rewires, and wiring upgrades.
  • Conduct PAT testing and ensure the safe use of electrical equipment.
  • Liaise with customers to arrange appointments and discuss works.
  • Complete all works to a high standard, leaving properties in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Work with technical teams to ensure the timely completion of works within operational targets.
  • Accurately complete paperwork, including job tickets and timesheets.
  • Participate in the company's out-of-hours emergency service.
Requirements:
  • BS 7671 (18th edition) qualified with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (NVQ3) or JIB graded with AM2 qualification.
  • City and Guilds 2391 (desirable, with qualification offered).
  • Domestic EICR testing and/or experience of domestic installation.
  • Excellent customer care skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience of online certification (Easy Cert) or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Travel distance of within 1 hour of Stafford.
