Job Overview:

Thames Water is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Operator to join our Waste Pumping Team in Camberley. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating electrical systems, including pumps, valves, and control gear, to ensure the efficient operation of wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and operation of electrical systems, including pumps, valves, and control gear
  • Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of electrical equipment
  • Providing technical advice and support to colleagues

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition electrical City and Guilds certification
  • Ideally an apprenticeship with significant experience in electrical systems working in a 'true multi-skilled capacity'
  • Experience in inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosis, testing, installation, modifying or repairing Electrical plant equipment

Salary Range: £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
