Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
About the Role:
As Global Counsel for the API Services business and European Counsel for the Viral Vector Services business, you will provide high-quality legal and compliance advice to these businesses.
- Serve as primary legal counsel for business transactions, commercial disputes, and settlements.
- Counsel senior leaders on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Lead and collaborate on legal projects and initiatives.
- Provide training to the organization on range of legal matters.
- Experience in handling legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, including product liability, trade compliance, anti-bribery, and data privacy.
- Strong understanding of contract terms and their legal consequences.
- Law degree from internationally recognized University/law school.
- Approximately five years of experience in commercial, corporate, or litigation matters.
- Knowledge of European and US laws and regulations in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors is an advantage.
- Applicable legal licensure and bar membership.
