About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sidel. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of our equipment, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Set up and assemble our machines in accordance with cost and deadline forecasts, ensuring that they are tested and put into production.
  • Technical Support: Provide initial support to customers on site or by telephone, addressing any technical issues that may arise during the commissioning process.
  • Service Implementation: Implement the services sold, including tools, maintenance, retrofit, and training, to ensure that customers receive the support they need to maximize the performance of our equipment.
  • Communication: Communicate with the project team on changes to the punch-list and contribute to the implementation of the corrective action plan.
  • Customer Support: Direct customers towards services, parts, and/or training, ensuring that they have access to the support they need to operate our equipment effectively.
  • Product Promotion: Present Sidel products to customers and promote the company's image, ensuring that our brand is represented in a positive and professional manner.
  • Skills Development: Ensure, through personal involvement, an increase in skills in the range of Sidel products and technologies, ensuring that our customers have the knowledge and expertise they need to operate our equipment effectively.
  • Administrative Organization: Ensure the administrative organization of customer assignments, mobilizing the resources needed to carry out the mission in a relevant manner.
About You
  • Technical Background: You will have a technical background in Mechanics, Automation, or Electrical, with a strong understanding of the principles of installation and commissioning.
  • Field Experience: Field experience is a strong plus, with a proven track record of successfully installing and commissioning complex equipment.
  • Travel Requirements: You will be required to travel at least 180-200 days per year, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
