Salary: £17.96 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate in biochemistry to embark on their first role in the industry. With 0-2 years of experience, you will be part of the Protein Chemistry group, delivering high-value technical innovation in the Protein and Process Analytics R&D team.

The role involves providing analytical support using various techniques, including CE-SDS, liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry, to R&D projects and general analytical testing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and reporting results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring scientific data accuracy and drawing meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Developing expertise in Protein Chemistry, focusing on product quality attributes and related assays.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Biomanufacturing.
  • Desirable experience in protein chemistry, with a background in analytical laboratory work and techniques such as liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, or capillary electrophoresis.
