Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
About the Role
As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical and mental health conditions. You will use your compassion and experience to help customers move forward with their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
- Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.
- Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £37,800 with the opportunity for a £1,500 additional skills allowance.
- Flexible working options, including full-time, part-time and hybrid arrangements.
- No bank holidays, evenings or weekends.

- Bank holidays plus 25 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell 5 days.
