About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Retail Store Key Holder at our Clevedon store. As a Retail Store Key Holder, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the success of our charity shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store, ensuring it trades safely and legally
  • Assist the management team in achieving profit targets by reducing costs and maximising sales
  • Operate as part of the overall shop team, carrying out tasks necessary to ensure the success and smooth running of the shop
  • Support delivering a high standard of presentation throughout, windows, and shop floor
  • Assist the management team in implementing changes to ensure optimum sales
  • Generate and encourage all stock donations from the public
  • Actively support and demonstrate our values through your role
What We're Looking For
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine interest in home wear, furniture, second-hand, and charity retail
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
  • Open and adaptable to change and able to support others through it
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • IT literacy and numeracy skills, using email systems and online resources, and understanding basic spreadsheets
  • Previous retail experience would be useful but not essential
