Maxim Recruitment is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our sustainable procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable procurement strategies that meet our clients' social and environmental targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies across multiple projects and commissions.
  • Lead project teams and play a key role in our large global transformation programmes.
  • Provide management, challenge, and guidance to colleagues as they work on client projects and commissions.
  • Identify, design, deliver, and continually improve clients' environmental performance to meet targets across key sustainability themes.
  • Lead the development of sustainable procurement services and propositions.
  • Play a leading role in business generation of sustainable procurement opportunities for our clients.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sustainable procurement strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong project team management ethos and ability to lead delivery and transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments.
  • Confident, independent, and able to work autonomously without need for supervision.
  • Ability to manage work/business development/career development activities.
  • Has achieved, is working towards, or is willing to work towards at least Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
