We are inviting talented specialists to apply for a highly rewarding Neurosurgical Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base Fellowship at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.


This esteemed RCS accredited clinical fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity for a senior neurosurgical trainee to gain invaluable experience in the management of complex skull base, pituitary, and facial pain pathologies.


As a fellow, you will participate in the general neurosurgical rota, sharing responsibility for neurosurgical patients in your area of sub-specialist interest. You will also be given the opportunity to develop expertise in the following key areas:



  • Skull base and pituitary surgery
  • Facial pain management
  • Clinical research and audit

Key Responsibilities



  • Care of patients on the wards
  • Assistance in the operating theatre
  • Attendance at appropriate clinics
  • Close collaboration with clinical nurse specialists
  • Regular review of literature and clinical data

Working Arrangements


Fellows will be second on call, 1 in 6, with two junior colleagues, as part of the general neurosurgical rota. This provides an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
