Job Overview
  Clarion Events is a leading event organizer, and we are currently seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our existing client base.
  As a Senior Commercial Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue across our established events and growing our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and expansion of business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and maximize revenue across established events
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities, particularly in sponsorship and brand activation
  • Leverage marketing campaigns, incoming leads, and proactive outreach to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on high satisfaction and continued partnership

Requirements:
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets
  • Proven ability to build and maintain a robust network, particularly in face-to-face interactions
  • Customer-centric mentality with a focus on prioritizing customer needs and success
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a close-knit, dynamic environment
  • Previous sales account management experience within a commercial role, preferably in live events or digital media sales
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
