We are looking for a dedicated HSE Advisor to join our team in North Midlands. This role involves implementing and monitoring HSE policies, conducting site inspections and audits, and providing training and support to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures across all sites in the region.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Deliver training and support to staff on HSE procedures and regulations, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Investigate and report on any incidents, taking corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HSE legislation and ensure full compliance across the region.
- Collaborate with site management and regional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a contributory pension scheme, life cover, healthcare, and bonus opportunities.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- Proven experience in an HSE advisory role, preferably within construction or relevant sector.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- Flexibility to travel between sites across the region.
