We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our Highway Information Management team. As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for building, improving, and managing the CRM system for Highways, working with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into reporting solutions. You will also troubleshoot issues using technical skills and critical thinking to ensure data accuracy for all users of the system.

The ideal candidate will have specialist skills to integrate data across various in-house and external software systems, ensuring high levels of data reliability to support the duties of the highway authority. You will create and implement customised reports across a range of data systems to provide valuable insight to operational staff, senior management, members of the public, and external stakeholders.

Occasional day-to-day management of the team responsible for the local street gazetteer, core highway asset data, geographical information systems, collection, and analysis of traffic data may also be required. You will use application programming interfaces (API) to enable exchange of data between systems, designing, developing, and implementing solutions in a CRM environment.
