Call Centre Representative

JT Recruit is partnering with a local authority in Derby to appoint two temporary Call Handler Responders to join the Carelink team. The team provides a 24-hour emergency TSA accredited monitoring and response service, ensuring vulnerable people have access to support at the end of the phone or at the touch of a button. As a Call Handler Responder, you will provide professional call handling services and an appropriate level of assistance to customers with telecare alarms installed in their own homes. You will discuss and assess the nature of emergencies, action an appropriate response, and respond themselves if required. In serious emergencies, the emergency services will be contacted. The role involves working night shifts, with some parts of the shift office-based and others requiring response to customers in their own homes. You will be expected to work x hour shifts with a 36-minute unpaid break on a rolling rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. The role is based at the Gatehouse, Kedleston Road, Derby, with on-site parking available. Full training will be given.
