Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Django/Python Developer to join our team at Shortlister.com. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our revolutionary video interview platform.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Django and Python, with experience in building scalable and efficient software solutions. You will be working closely with our product team to design, develop, and deploy new features, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy new features using Django and Python
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of new features
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements:
  • Intimate knowledge of Django and Python
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and other database management systems
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with development and consumption of HTTP APIs
  • Knowledge of open-source projects such as Heroku and Amazon Web Services
