Job Description

We're looking for a motivated and detail-focused Graduate Accounts/Tax Trainee to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a Trainee Tax Adviser, you'll work closely with clients to provide expert advice on tax legislation and ensure they make the most of tax advantages.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations
  2. Meet with clients to gather information and discuss tax plans
  3. Prepare and submit compliance returns by set deadlines
  4. Collaborate with HMRC on client matters
  5. Develop tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals
  6. Analyse tax liability and provide recommendations for minimisation
  7. Provide guidance on indirect taxation, including VAT and customs planning
Qualifications
  • 2:1 or above in a relevant field (Accountancy, Finance, Maths, Economics)
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Detailed and accurate in work, with strong focus on payment details
  • Able to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Proactive and responsible, meeting deadlines without prompting
  • Effective task management and prioritisation skills
  • Collaborative team player
Salary Range

£30,000 - £40,000 per year
