Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our field service department, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic and repair services for Caterpillar products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer service requests and diagnose equipment problems using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive details to customers and Finning to create quotes for repair work.
  • Identify and requisition parts required for repairs and determine expected delivery times.
  • Undertake repair and service work on machines to agreed work plans, removing and dispatching components for specialist attention.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 preferred.
  • Heavy Earth Moving equipment operating knowledge and experience of a variety of construction and static machines.
  • LDV driving license and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business.
