Housing Support Worker

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in housing support and community engagement. As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide intensive, wraparound support to individuals who have recently moved into temporary accommodation, addressing their housing needs and complex issues that may act as barriers to a positive lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical assistance with tasks like benefit applications, housing sustainment, health, education, employment, and addiction support.
  • Collaborate with other support agencies to ensure a high-quality, robust network for individuals.
  • Work with local residents, communities, and organizations to foster positive relationships and community cohesion.
  • Educate partners on the needs of the people we support and maintain positive partnerships.
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans, including detailed risk assessment and management strategies.

Essential Criteria:

  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience or knowledge in housing support, community engagement, or a similar background

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on location)
